AC Project - V Training Conference

This week was held the fifth of six organized by the CBA anti-corruption training conference.

International meetings are held under the project, for which implementation of the Central Anticorruption Bureau received funding from the European Commission. The main theme of this meeting were operational-investigative activities.

Under the Program Prevention and Fight against Crime the European Commission granted the CBA, as the beneficiary of the project funds for the implementation of "Rising of Anticorruption Training Conference”. Co-beneficiary of the project is the Special Investigation Service of the Republic of Lithuania (STT), and the project partner is the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau (KNAB) of the Republic of Latvia.


The main theme  of the V Training Conference are operational-investigative activities. The meeting is primarily aimed at enhancing international cooperation, exchange of experience and good practices as well as discussion on conducting operational-investigative. The conference was attended by over 20 people, including representatives from Austria, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania, Slovenia and Hungary.

The project consists of two components - the series of six training conferences scheduled for the years 2013 - 2015 and the launch of the e-learning platform.
