The Head of the CBA at the RAI Steering Committee

The Head of the CBA Paweł Wojtunik attended the meeting of the Steering Committee of the Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative (RAI).

RAI Secretariat invited the Head of the CBA to participate in the work of the Regional Anti-Corruption Initiative which brings together countries such as: Albania, Bosnia
and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Moldova, Romania and Serbia.  This is a result of  the recognition of the work of the Central Anticorruption Bureau in the fight against corruption, which is reflected, among others, in an ever-growing position of our country in the ranking of Transparency International.

During the meeting of the Steering Committee the Head of the CBA Paweł Wojtunik presented the role and tasks of the Central Anticorruption Bureau in fight against and prevention of corruption. Representatives of RAI Member States gave the CBA status of RAI observer.

RAI observer status allows for the participation of CBA in various kinds of anti-corruption initiatives, such as international projects, trainings, seminars and educational activities including science. These initiatives will contribute to raising anti-corruption awareness in Southern and Central - Eastern Europe.
