“What Jonny doesn’t learn as a child, John can’t learn as an adult”

The Head of the CBA  took part today in a conference summing up a pilot phase of educational project "Ethics, not only for kids".

The Central Anticorruption Bureau and the Education Development Centre (ORE) signed a cooperation agreement which aimed at the implementation of the pilot phase of the educational project "Ethics, not only for kids". The cooperation included, among others, conduction of an  anti-corruption training and development of a guidebook for teachers.

The project is dedicated to teachers and pupils of primary school classes I-III, as well as to parents and local communities.

As part of the pilot phase of the project the officers of the CBA took part, among others, in: conducting training for coordinators and regional leaders on the topic of anti-corruption, development of a guidebook for teachers and launch e-learning platform.

The aim of the project is to support early childhood education teachers in the implementation of ethical and anti-corruption issues within the objectives of the program basis.

In connection with the implementation of the project, a network of regional coordinators – experts for social and ethical education, has been established. Moreover methodical guide for teachers of early childhood education has been prepared. The guidebook is designed for schools participating in the pilot phase of the project.

School leaders involved in the pilot phase will receive ORE’s certificate of completion, while schools participating in the pilot phase will obtain a diploma "Ethical school".

Today in Warsaw is being held a seminar summarizing the pilot phase of the project.
