CBA control at the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development
On 14 January 2020, the officers of the Control Procedures Department of the Regional Office of the CBA in Bydgoszcz commenced an inspection at the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.
The audit covers selected procedures for making and implementing decisions by the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development regarding applications for financial support of projects submitted by entities from the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, in the scope of creating an innovative technology for the production of fertilisers from industrial waste.
As part of the control activities, the officers have been checking documents submitted to the Agency for obtaining financial support in terms of their compliance with the factual and legal status.
There is a likelihood that an attempt to extort a subsidy may have occured by submitting false or forged documents by the applicants.
The the inspection is planned to be completed on 14 April 2020.
