Searches in Masovian hospitals
Officers from the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau conducted searches at six hospitals in the Masovian Voivodeship. The case concerns, among other things, public procurement contracts for healthcare facilities. The investigation is supervised by the District Prosecutor’s Office in Sieradz.
On 28 July 2026, officers from the Regional Office of the CBA in Warsaw carried out searches at six hospitals located in the Masovian Voivodeship. The activities were conducted on the order of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Sieradz. During the searches, officers secured documentation and data storage devices that may constitute evidence in the ongoing investigation.
Favourable Procurement Decisions
According to the findings of the investigation conducted by the Regional Office of the CBA in Warsaw, in the years 2020–2021 certain identified individuals may have accepted financial benefits in connection with the performance of their public duties. The investigation is also verifying whether financial support granted by a local government authority for education and professional development of medical personnel was spent in accordance with its intended purpose. To date, three individuals have been detained and charged in connection with the case.
The Investigation Is Ongoing
The investigation is multi-threaded and remains ongoing. Following an analysis of the secured evidence, further procedural activities are planned.
