The Indictment Has Been Submitted to the Court
The prosecutor of the Silesian Division of the National Prosecutor’s Office in Katowice has filed another indictment in the investigation concerning irregularities within the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves (RARS). The multi-faceted preparatory proceedings are being conducted by officers of the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau. Fourteen individuals have been named as suspects in the case.
On 25 November of this year, another indictment related to irregularities in the Government Agency for Strategic Reserves (RARS) was submitted to the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw. The proceedings in this case are being conducted by officers of the Regional Office of the CBA in Rzeszów under the supervision of the Silesian Division of the Department for Organised Crime and Corruption of the National Prosecutor’s Office in Katowice.
The indictment concerns the thread of the case in which two individuals have been charged. It covers acts of paid protection consisting of undertaking to mediate in court matters, specifically the removal of business entities from the National Court Register. These entities were represented by one of the main suspects, Paweł Sz., including the foundation he managed, “Red is Bad”.
According to the findings of the investigation, one of the accused undertook to resolve a court matter involving the deletion of several companies and the foundation belonging to another suspect from the National Court Register, despite the required financial statements not being submitted. In exchange for these actions, one of the accused accepted a financial advantage amounting to PLN 20,000.
Currently, there are 14 suspects in the investigation, who have together been charged with a total of 36 offences.
