The Central Anti-Corruption Bureau is a special service, created to combat corruption in public and economic life, particularly in public and local government institutions as well as to fight against activities detrimental to the State's economic interest. The Bureau conducts its activities under the Act of 9 June 2006 on the Central Anti-Corruption Bureau (Journal of Laws of 2014, item 1411 - consolidated text).
