CBA at Warsaw Municipal Police and Polish Railways (PKP) companies

Yesterday, the CBA officers entered the premises of the Municipal Police of the Capital City of Warsaw, offices of the Polskie Linie Kolejowe PKP S.A. (Polish Railways) and PKP Utrzymanie (Maintenance) sp. z o.o. at 74 Targowa St., Warsaw. The investigation is being conducted by the CBA’s Regional Office in Lublin.

The Regional Office of the CBA in Lublin, supervised by the District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw, is carrying out an investigation into irregularities in awarding selected public procurements.  The CBA officers also accomplished activities on the premises of several companies in Warsaw. 

The CBA officers have secured documents and IT data as well as electronic correspondence concerning the organisation of selected tenders, preparation of public procurements and awarding the contracts to some entities as well as the execution and settlement of tenders.  The evidence gathered will be verified and analysed.

The CBA officers have previously secured other documents, which could have influenced the multithreaded investigation, at the Transport Division of the Warsaw City Council Organisation Office.
