On 1st December 2015 the Prime Minister Beata Szydło entrusted the responsibilities of the Head of the CBA to Ernest Bejda

Ernest Bejda born on 24 September 1973.

A graduate of the  Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. In 1997 he graduated from law studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration University in Lublin (UMCS). After graduation, in 1997-1999 he was a trainee prosecutor in Warsaw. He passed the professional prosecutors exam. Since 2000 until 2002 he worked in the General Customs Inspectorate in Warsaw. In 2000-2004 he was a trainee lawyer. After passing the final advocate examination in 2004 he has worked as a lawyer running his own law firm. In 2006 he was appointed Deputy Head of the CBA. He held this function until 2009. In 2010 he was released from service in the CBA. After his release from service in the CBA he worked, among others, as a legal adviser running his own law firm.
